Reputable and established law firm is seeking a Senior Manager – Business Development and Strategic Initiatives. The Senior Manager will work closely with the firm’s Business Development and marketing team and Chief Strategy and Development Officer. This position offers significant exposure to professionals throughout the firm and provides an excellent opportunity for advancement.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with our team of Business Development and marketing professionals to drive growth and implement BD and marketing initiatives
- Support strategic projects connected to the growth of the firm from a marketing and Business Development perspective
- Manage responses to RFPs, pitches, and presentations
- Assist partners in developing and executing Business Development plans
- Facilitate the firm’s participation in events, conferences, seminars, sponsorship opportunities, and attorney speaking engagements
- Oversees the firm’s promotional efforts and brand management
- Proactively bring new ideas to create opportunities in the market
- Manage directory and award submissions (Chambers, Legal 500)
- Supervise Business Development and Marketing Specialists
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 7+ years of marketing/Business Development experience in a law firm environment is required
- Proactive professional who inspires confidence and trust with partners and colleagues
- Strategic thinker with proven ability to execute and achieve results
- Track record of successfully working with attorneys to build and expand their business and promote the firm’s brand
- Collaborative and ability to work with a wide range of professionals
- Excellent project management and managerial skills
- Experience with CRM, email marketing systems, and website platforms are a plus
- Some travel to firm offices and events is required
Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation to be in the office at least 3 times per week and on an as needed basis.
