Network Administrator – Century City

Prestigious law firm with multiple offices throughout California, is currently seeking a Network Administrator to join their team and ensure the smooth operation of their  network infrastructure.

The Network Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the firm’s network. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in a legal or professional services environment and a keen understanding of the unique challenges faced by law firms.

Network Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Implement, and manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Configure and maintain network hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
  • Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades, including patches and security updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Implement and enforce network security protocols to protect sensitive data.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure secure configuration and maintenance of servers, workstations, and mobile devices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff as needed.

 

Qualified Network Administrators will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network administration.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Experience with network security practices and technologies.
  • Familiarity with legal industry software and applications is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are preferred.

Ella graduated from Loyola Marymount University in May of 2022 with a Bachelor’s in History and Spanish. As an undergraduate, Ella loved to learn about the intersectionality of the past and present through culture, law, language, and the arts.

Shortly after graduation, Ella moved to a small town in Spain, Segovia; about an hour outside of Madrid. She taught English in a classroom setting to elementary and middle school aged students across five small, rural pueblos. After moving back to LA a year later, Ella expressed an interest in recruiting and law, and was connected with Mitch.
